Home EdaFace Component 5: NFT Marketplace How to Transact on NFTs Article
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to connect your wallet to the EdaFace NFT Marketplace.
You’ll need a standard Web3 non-custodial wallet like MetaMask or Trust Wallet, which are the most widely supported wallets.
Download and install a Web3 wallet if you don’t already have one:
MetaMask: browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) or mobile app.
Other supported wallets may include Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, etc.
Create a new wallet or import an existing wallet using your seed phrase.
Make sure you save your seed phrase safely. Losing it means losing access to your wallet.
Open your browser and go to EdaFace NFT Marketplace: https://nft.edaface.com.
Ensure you are on the official website to avoid phishing.
On the top right of the marketplace homepage, look for the button “Connect Wallet,” which becomes visible only when you log into your EdaFace account.
Click the button. A list of supported wallets should appear. If your wallet is not showing, you can use "Wallet Connect" to still connect your wallet.
Select your wallet from the list (e.g., MetaMask).
If you’re using a browser extension like MetaMask, it will pop up asking for permission.
If you’re on mobile, the marketplace may give a QR code for scanning via your mobile wallet app.
Your wallet will show a prompt asking: “Do you want to connect to EdaFace NFT Marketplace?”
Confirm the connection by clicking “Connect”.
Some wallets may ask for account selection if you have multiple addresses. Choose the account you want to use for transactions.
After connecting, the Connect Wallet button will usually show your wallet address in truncated form (e.g., 0xAbc...123).
You are now ready to:
• Browse NFTs
• Buy, sell, or list NFTs
• Participate in auctions
• Access your NFT collections directly from your wallet.
Make sure your wallet is set to the correct blockchain network for EdaFace NFTs (usually Ethereum or BSC, depending on the collection).
Switch networks in your wallet if needed.
Once connected, you can mint, buy, sell, or transfer NFTs.
All transactions will require wallet confirmations and gas fees (network fees).
• Use a hardware wallet for high-value NFTs for extra security.
• Never share your seed phrase.
• Always double-check the URL to avoid phishing scams.
