The benefits of transactions on EdaFace Dex are numerous and include:

(a). Availability of Tokens

Unlike Centralized Exchanges (Cex) where the listing of coins and tokens is vetted so that only the Cex-approved ones are available for the traders, EdaFace Dex offers a platform for any coin or token to be listed.

However, such a coin or token will have to undergo scam verification before it can be listed and become tradeable on EdaFace Dex.

(b). Privacy and Anonymity

Unlike Cex, trading on EdaFace Dex does not require laborious KYC certification. You can trade privately and anonymously.

(c). Simplicity

To trade on EdaFace Dex, all you need to do is simply connect your non-custodial wallet.

(d). Control of funds

Since EdaFace Dex has no central authority controlling the functioning of the exchange, all funds and currencies that move across the network are controlled by the users themselves. The users of the platform have complete control over their funds.

(e). Safety and Security

Generally, Dex are less prone to hacks since they have no single point of entry. An attacker would need to infiltrate multiple nodes on the network simultaneously to even have a chance of compromising the network.

Even if one or two nodes go down, the exchange keeps functioning as it is independent of any central server or node that controls the whole process. This leads to added security over the network and gives more power to the users or participants in the network.

In other words, EdaFace Dex transactions are much safer than Cex transactions, especially considering that users are in the custody of their funds; EdaFace Dex does not keep traders’ funds.

(f). Easy integration with hardware wallets

Users of EdaFace Dex can easily integrate their hardware wallets and carry out transactions directly from their hardware wallets. This saves the user from keyloggers and other malicious software attacks.

Construction Deadline

EdaFace is still being developed. The testing and mainnet deployment of EdaFace Dex are expected to occur by December 2024.
