Before we show you how to buy an Eddie NFT, let’s first explain what Eddie is and why owning one can be valuable within the EdaFace Ecosystem.
Eddie is a species of EdaFace Mascot that is minted and issued as NFTs on the EdaFace Marketplace.
There are five editions of Eddie:
Universal, Distinctive, Illustrious, Powerful, and Legendary.
Together, these Genesis editions comprise 23 variants, with different levels of rarity ranging from Common to Ultra-Rare.
Eddie is the official representation of the EdaFace Ecosystem, making it more than just a digital collectible.
As an Eddie holder, you will be able to enjoy a range of ecosystem benefits, including free airdrops of EDA Coin, the opportunity to stake your Eddie to earn EDA Coin, and the ability to trade Eddie NFTs across supported platforms.

So, if you are ready to become an Eddie holder, let's take a look at how to buy your Eddie NFT, step by step.
Before you can buy an Eddie NFT, you will need a crypto wallet.
You can obtain a crypto wallet from Trust Wallet or MetaMask. Both are free to use.
If you don't know how to create a Trust Wallet or MetaMask wallet, don't worry.
Visit the EdaFace YouTube channel and search for “Trust Wallet” or “MetaMask” for step-by-step guidance.

Eddie is purchased with USDT on the BNB Smart Chain, also known as USDT BEP20.
Therefore, before you start the purchase process, make sure your wallet has enough USDT BEP20 to purchase the Eddie you have selected.
You will also need approximately US$1 to US$2 worth of BNB in your wallet to cover the gas fees on the BNB Smart Chain, the blockchain on which Eddie was minted.
So, remember:
USDT — to purchase your Eddie.
BNB — to pay the blockchain gas fee.
Make sure you have both before proceeding.

If you are new to EdaFace, create your account and follow the registration instructions.
Once you are logged in, you can proceed to connect your wallet.
Step 5 — Connect Your Crypto Wallet
Next, connect your crypto wallet to the EdaFace Marketplace.
Select the option to connect your wallet and follow the instructions provided by your wallet.
Once your wallet is successfully connected, you are ready to purchase your Eddie.
Step 6 — Choose Your Eddie
Now, browse the available Eddie NFTs.
When you find the Eddie you want to purchase, click on it to open its details.
Take your time and make sure you have selected the Eddie you actually want.
Step 7 — Check the Eddie's Details
Before purchasing, carefully review the information displayed on the Eddie's page.
Check the Eddie's image, name, price, collection, rarity, and other available NFT traits.
In this example, the Eddie is displayed with a purchase price of 3 USDT.
Always review the details carefully before proceeding with your purchase.
Step 8 — Click Buy Now
Once you are satisfied with your selection, click Buy Now.
This will take you to the purchase or checkout process.
Review the purchase amount carefully before continuing.
Step 9 — Confirm the Transaction
Your crypto wallet will ask you to confirm the transaction.
Carefully review the transaction details and the applicable blockchain fee.
If everything is correct, approve the transaction in your wallet.
Important: Never share your wallet's seed phrase or private key with anyone.
Step 10 — Wait for Blockchain Confirmation
After you approve the transaction, the purchase will be submitted to the blockchain.
Please allow a moment for the transaction to be processed and confirmed.
Once the transaction is successfully confirmed, your Eddie purchase is complete.
Step 11 — Save Your Transaction Hash
After your Eddie purchase has been successfully confirmed, locate and save the Transaction Hash (TX Hash) for the purchase.
The TX Hash is the unique identification number of your blockchain transaction.
Keep your TX Hash safe. You will need it to verify your Eddie purchase if you are eligible for an EDA Coin purchase reward.
Remember:
Your wallet address identifies your wallet.
Your TX Hash identifies your specific Eddie purchase transaction.
Step 12 — Submit Your Purchase for Your EDA Coin Reward
If your Eddie purchase qualifies for an EDA Coin reward, submit your Eddie purchase TX Hash through the designated EdaFace reward-verification process.
Make sure that the BEP20 wallet address you registered on the EdaFace Launchpad is the same wallet you used to purchase your Eddie.
This is important because the wallet address connects your Eddie purchase to your EdaFace Launchpad account.
Step 13 — EdaFace Verifies Your Purchase
EdaFace Admin will verify your submitted TX Hash on the BNB Smart Chain.
The transaction will be checked to confirm:
• the purchasing wallet;
• the Eddie NFT contract;
• the Eddie Token ID;
• the quantity purchased; and
• the successful completion of the transaction.
Once your purchase has been successfully verified, the applicable EDA Coin reward will be credited to your EdaFace Launchpad account as a Bonus.
Step 14 — Receive Your EDA Coin Reward
Your verified EDA Coin reward will appear in your EdaFace Launchpad account as a Bonus.
Accumulated EDA Coin rewards will be processed for distribution to your registered BEP20 wallet according to the EdaFace reward-distribution schedule.
Congratulations!
You have successfully purchased an Eddie NFT on EdaFace and, if your purchase qualifies, completed the process for receiving your EDA Coin purchase reward.
