All NFTs can be classified into three categories, and are all available on EdaFace NFT Marketplace. These three categories of NFTs are as follows:

(1). Art NFTs

Art NFTs are non-fungible tokens that represent ownership of a creative artistic work stored or referenced on a blockchain. These works are produced primarily for aesthetic, cultural, or expressive value rather than functional utility.

In simple terms, an Art NFT is a blockchain-certified piece of artwork that allows collectors to verify authorship, authenticity, and ownership through blockchain technology based on the principles of a Non-fungible token.

Key Characteristics of Art NFTs

(a). Authenticity

NFT technology prevents duplication of ownership by assigning a unique token identifier to each artwork.

(b). Creative Expression

Art NFTs originate from artistic creativity, including visual, photographic, or animated works created by an artist.

(c). Proof of Ownership

The blockchain records who owns the artwork and when it was created or transferred, providing verifiable provenance.

(d). Scarcity

Artists often release art NFTs as single pieces (1-of-1) or in limited editions, which enhances collectibility.

(e). Tradability

Art NFTs can be bought and sold on EdaFace NFT Marketplace.
