For ease of administration and to engender specialization, EdaFace Team members are structured into five departments.
Each Department is led by a Head of Department (HOD).

Below is a summary of the 5 Departments of EdaFace.

The Chief Executive Department (CED) is the coordinating office of EdaFace activities. It consists of two Units:
(a). CEO Office
The leader of the CED is known as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He performs the following functions:
● Ensures the vision of EdaFace is adhered to by all the Departments
● Lead, direct, and ensure the functions of the Secretariat Office are carried out effectively and efficiently.
● He is the leader of the Board of Managers.
(b). Secretariat Office
The Secretariat Office has a Secretary, who is the official Secretary of EdaFace. The functions of the Secretary include:
● The official spokesperson of the EdaFace Team
● Supervision of the day-to-day activities of all the Departments of EdaFace.
● Calling up BOM meetings and making arrangements for the success of each meeting.
● Record keeping of each meeting.
● Ensure staff regular training to conform with EdaFace's vision.
The Secretary performs the above duties under the leadership of the CEO. That is, the CEO has the right and powers to override any decisions or plans by the Secretary.
Note that the Secretary can only function with the express permission of the CEO.

Director/CEO
Has been involved in a number of blockchain projects since 2017. Has expertise in information technology. Trained as a Medical Practitioner and a Public Health Expert in South Africa and the United Kingdom.

The functions of the Department of Finance (DOF) include:
● In charge of the day-to-day running of financial activities of EdaFace
● Oversees the financial execution of EdaFace projects
● Draw up the annual budgets of EdaFace for the BOM deliberation
● Interpret the budgetary allocations for the running of EdaFace
● Advise the BOM on financial matters
● Keep proper records of EDA financial activities.
The Financial Department is made up of accountants, HR personnel, etc.
The leader of the Financial Department is known as the Head of Department (HOD) of Finance.
The Department of Finance has two units:
(a). Budgetary Unit
This unit is in charge of budgetary formulation and allocations.
(b). Human Resource Unit
This unit is in charge of payroll and staff recruitment and is part of the staff disciplinary committee.

A Public Health Pharmacist with expertise in Project Management, trained in Nigeria and USA with B.Pharm, MPH, Cert Project Mgt, and Cert Leadership in Global Health. Has been in the blockchain industry since 2018.

The Department of Logistics (DOL) has multi-duties, which are grouped into three units:
(a). Business Development Unit
This unit is in charge of business development, which is as follows:
● Formulate new project ideas in line with EDA’s vision through creative and innovative ingenuity
● Develop ideas into a digital design for approval by the EdaFace Board of Managers
● Design the structure of EdaFace Ecosystem
● Design how each project in the EdaFace Ecosystem will interact with all the other projects to advance EdaFace’s vision.
● Identify the need for staff recruitment for all the Departments and make such recommendations to the BOM for approval.
● Organize employment interviews along with the relevant Department and the Department of Finance.
This means that those who will sit in each employment interview are personnel from the Logistic Department, Finance Department, and the relevant Department in which the employee will be working.
In summary, the work of the Business Development Unit is "to think out the way forward for EdaFace." The Unit consists of individuals with brilliant minds whose job is principally to produce creative and innovative solutions in line with the vision of EdaFace.
(b). Legal Unit
This Unit is in charge of all legal matters of EdaFace. It is made up of legal personnel. Its functions include:
● Review and advise the EdaFace Team on all legal issues.
● Check all EdaFace documentation for legal compliance.
● Guide, prepare, and ratify any appropriate documents for any contractual relationship that the EdaFace Team will want to enter into.
● Attend to all legal issues of EdaFace.
(c). Statistics Unit
This Unit is in charge of data management. It is made up of statisticians and data managers. Its functions include:
● Collate, arrange, and coordinate information into statistics for usage in advancing the vision of EdaFace.
● Record keeping of EdaFace’s data
● Periodical release of data to show the progress of the EdaFace Ecosystem in line with the vision
Personnel of the Department of Logistics
The Department of Logistics is led by the Head of Department (HOD).
Each of the three Units of the Department of Logistics is led by a Unit Leader.
Each Unit Leader reports to the HOD Logistics.

The Department of Marketing (DOM) is in charge of marketing EdaFace. Its functions include:
● Using all legal means to advertise and promote EDA’s projects
● Searching for partnerships and making recommendations for their endorsement by the BOM.
● To draw up EdaFace's marketing programs regularly, e.g. for 6 months, and at the end of the 6 months, to review the outcomes and draw up new programs as the situation demands.
● To identify the marketing budgetary needs of EdaFace.
● To continuously cover and provide leadership in all the aspects of EdaFace's Marketing, which include:
• Affiliate Marketing
• Content Marketing
• Email Marketing
• Mobile Marketing
• Pay-Per-Click
• Search Engine Optimization
• Social Media Marketing
• Influencer Marketing
• Traditional Media Marketing (e.g. Radio, Television, etc.)
• Institutional Marketing (e.g. school outreaches)
• Billboard Advertisement
• Any other legitimate marketing strategy
● To actively look for and identify Partners and Influencers that will boost EdaFace’s prospects and arrange for them to sign contracts with EdaFace Team.
● Decide, design, and implement any legitimate marketing strategy and platform that will advance EdaFace’s vision.
The Marketing Department is made up of marketers. The leader of the Department is known as the Head of Department (HOD) Marketing.
Units of DOM
The Department of Marketing consists of two Units:
(a) Sales Unit
This unit is in charge of all forms of EDA sales.
The leader of the Sales Unit is known as the Sales Manager, and he/she reports to the Marketing HOD.
(b). Media Unit
This unit is in charge of the production and management of graphics, videos, and all media needs of EdaFace. The leader of the Media Unit is known as the Media Manager, and he/she reports to the Marketing HOD.
Malu Landu
(HOD of Marketing)
Has a Bachelor degree in Nursing and a Master's degree in Public Health and has worked with many clinics and hospitals in South Africa and across Africa with the United Nations Organisation.
She is a healthcare manager who speaks both English and French. She brings a wealth of management experience to EdaFace leadership, advancing its marketing efforts and reaching especially the Francophone communities.

Eda Lab is the department in charge of transforming ideas into physical or digital products in line with the vision of EdaFace.
Thus, whereas the Department of Logistics generates ideas, Eda Lab is in charge of bringing such ideas into reality.
EDA Lab is a leader in building distributed computing systems and decentralized technology solutions.
EDA Lab is committed to open-source principles, and ethical, purpose-driven business, creating technology to benefit its users in line with the vision of EdaFace.
The functions of Eda Lab include:
● Designing and building EdaFace's projects
● Maintaining and servicing EdaFace's projects
● Generating creative and innovative ideas, along with the Department of Logistics, for the EdaFace Ecosystem.
The Units of Eda Lab
Eda Lab consists of three units:
(1). Frontend Development
This unit is in charge of formulating, designing, developing, and maintaining the frontend system of the EdaFace Ecosystem.
(2). Backend Development
All the backend formulation, designs, development, and maintenance of the EdaFace Ecosystem is handled by the Backend Development Unit.
(3). Audit Unit
This is in charge of auditing all the codes such as the smart contracts of EdaFace Ecosystem.

Has expertise in web development (front and backend), and a 10-year career experience/professional development in Data Science and Machine Learning.
