How to Sell NFTs on EdaFace Marketplace

Posted on 2024-08-06 Updated on 2024-08-06

To sell your NFT on EdaFace Marketplace, you will need to list the NFT first on the arena of EdaFace Marketplace. Here are the practical steps to list and sell on EdaFace:

Step 1: Obtain a Non-Custodial Wallet

To be able to sell NFTs, you will need a non-custodial wallet such as a Metamask or Trust Wallet.

If you don’t know how to set up your wallet, see Getting Started.

Step 2: Fund Your Wallet

Login to your wallet and fund it with EDA coin ($EDA) for payment of transaction charges, which are quite marginal, and the cheapest in the industry.

If you don’t know how to fund your wallet, see Getting Started.

Step 3: Open the EdaFace Account

Register and obtain an account with EdaFace by clicking on nft.edaface.com. This is free and requires only your username, email, and a secure password.

Step 4: Connect Your Wallet

Click on “Connect Wallet” on EdaFace NFT Marketplace and select your wallet. If your wallet is unlocked (open), it will be connected. See How to Connect Your Wallet to EdaFace.

Step 5: Identify the NFT for Sale

Once you have connected your wallet, you will see all your NFT collections in your account under “My Items.”

To see “My Items” click on the wallet icon at the top right.

Step 6: Sale Options

Once you have identified your NFT for sale, Click the “Put on Sale” button that is next to the NFT.

You’ll be prompted to fill in the following information:

(a). Number of copies of the NFT you want to sell

(b). You can then fill in your username, personal biodata, social media links, etc.

(c). Select the arena (category) that you would like to display your NFT for prospective buyers. EdaFace NFT Marketplace has three distinct arenas for NFT sales – Art, Collectible, and Gaming.

(d). Choose one of the Sale Options for the sale of your NFT. These three Sale Options are:

(i). Fixed Price:

This means you will only receive one price offer from buyers

(ii). Timed Auction

This means you will receive from buyers different bid price offers (“Bid Offers” for short).

Note the following three things about a Bid Offer:

• a Bid Offer is valid at or above the Minimum Bid price set by the NFT seller

• a Bid Offer is valid within a specified time frame set by the NFT seller.

• The highest Bid Offer after the auction ends is the winning bid.

Thus, if you choose the Time Auction sale, you’ll also have to set the start price (Minimum Bid) and expiration deadline. For more information, click: “Learn more about how Timed Auctions work.”

(iii). Default Sale

Note that if you do not choose either a Fixed Price or Time Auction, your NFT will, by default, be placed for Unlimited Auction sale.

Unlimited Auction means there is no Minimum Bid and no Specified Duration for the auction to take place. As the seller of the NFT, you can start the auction with any bid price and end it at any time you so desire.

(e). Whitelist Users

This refers to whether you want some specific wallets to be pre-approved to acquire your NFTs. You can insert these wallets at the specified places.

Step 7: Submit for Sale

(a). When you’ve completed all the required pricing information, you can then click the “Start” button to submit the NFT for sale on the arena of EdaFace NFT Marketplace.

(b). There may not be any direct fees for listing your NFTs for sale on EdaFace Marketplace. However, some fees may be deducted by EdaFace once the sale goes through.

Congrats on listing your NFT on EdaFace Marketplace for sale.

(c). You can view all the NFTs you have put up for sale by returning to My Items of your EdaFace account and selecting the “On Sale” tab.

(d). You can stop the sale of your NFT at any time by clicking on “Cancel Order” at the bottom of the NFT in the My Item area of your EdaFace account.
