Minting Format for Image NFT

Welcome to EdaFace Mint System.

You can mint your NFTs on the EdaFace NFT Marketplace (NMP). There are seven ways you can mint on EdaFace NFT Marketplace. You can read more about them here: SEVEN MINTING VARIETIES.

To be able to create and mint an Image NFT successfully on the EdaFace NFT Marketplace, you will need to format your file correctly before uploading it for minting. Follow the pattern presented here to successfully mint your Image NFT.

Upload an Image File

To create and mint an Image NFT, you will need to upload an Image File.

An Image File is a digitally pictorial photo.

Supported Image file formats are: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WEBP.

The total maximum file size is fifty megabytes (50 mb). That is, the collective size of all Image Files you want to upload may not be more than 50 mb for each minting.

No Thumb File

Unlike Audio and Video NFTs, an Image NFT does not need a Thumb File because the Image File itself provides a background cover.

Three Ways to Mint Image File

There are three ways you can mint an Image NFT on EdaFace NFT Marketplace:

(a). Single Image Minting

This allows you to mint only one copy of an Image NFT.

This means that you need to upload one Image File.

(b). UniMultiple Image Minting

This allows you to mint two or more copies (a maximum of 100 000 copies) of one Image NFT at a time.

This means that you need to upload one Image File. Then from this one Image File, you can produce upto 100 000 NFT copies.

Note that all the copies will have the same background appearance because they are from one Image File.

(c). PolyMultiple Image Minting

This is where you can mint multiple copies of two or more different Image NFTs at a time.

Thus, this minting format allows you to produce different varieties of Image NFTs all at once.

The maximum number of different Image NFT varieties you can produce at one time is 100 000. To produce this maximum number, you will need to upload 100 000 Image Files.

Number of NFT Copies Per Minting

You can mint multiple NFT copies of each Image File you upload.

The maximum number of NFT copies you can produce from each Image File at a time is 100 000.

Therefore, if you choose to upload the maximum number of 100 000 Image Files, you can produce 100 000 NFT copies from each of these files.

Meaning, a total maximum of 10 000 000 000 NFT copies (that is, 100 000 x 100 000) can be produced at one time.

Examples of Image Files

If you want to produce an Image NFT, you need to simply upload an Image File. If you want 50 different Image NFTs, then upload 50 different Image Files. You can produce many NFT copies from each Image File.

For example, Eddie wants to produce 7 different Image NFTs at one time. He will need to upload 7 different Image Files in the PolyMultiple Image Minting in order to create and mint the 7 different Image NFTs.

From each of these seven Image Files, he can produce multiple copies of Image NFTs (upto a maximum of 100 000 copies at one time).

For your easy access and reference, Eddie may keep all the files in one folder, as shown in Table 1.
